Meet the Onion Lake FASD Diagnostic Team!

The Disability Research Partnership recently organized a lunch-time information session by the Onion Lake FASD Diagnostic Team.  The purpose of this event was to introduce interested community members and ACCFS agency employees to the Team, and to provide an opportunity for information sharing and exchange.

Team members Jolene Gramlick and Crystal Tobler gave an informative presentation about how the team got started in Onion Lake, their partners, and some of the impacts they have had in the community.

As one of only a handful of organizations capable of making an FASD diagnosis in the province of Saskatchewan, Onion Lake’s community-based team approach is unique.  The value of their work was recognized at the 7th International Conference on FASD where they presented in Vancouver last year.
