The team headed out to Beardy’s and Okemasis First Nation on March 21, 2019. They were very welcomed by the IA worker – Lorraine Cameron
The team successfully completed 2 Focus Groups one with community Elders and one with IA Clients. The team also picked up completed surveys.
Both groups presented rich discussions on “ways of life”, IA policy improvements and Budgeting. Participants provided such great insight into the meaning of community and working together. Wonderful! Wonderful ideas! Thank you so much for all the great hospitality.
It was an honor to sit and listen to you all.
