October 22-23, SFNFCI hosted a very successful Thriving Through Transitions LTCC Conference at Prairieland Park.
Over 200 participants had registered for the event to hear presentations from a variety of organizations and individuals who are providing long-term care.
The conference featured sessions from Indigenous Services Canada, the FASD Network, CLSD, SHA, CMHA, 2 Crees in a Pod, Norma Rabbitskin and Lisa Sakebow, and Vancouver Coastal Health.
Kelsie Zerebeski – Research Consultant, the lead organizer for the event said, “It was an incredible two days focused on the long-term and continuing care sector.
A huge thank-you to our amazing speakers, vendors, and the 200+ attendees who made this event such a success. The learning, networking, and connection over these two days were truly inspiring.
It was a beautiful reminder of the important work we all do and the impact we create when we come together with shared purpose and heart!”
