Supervisor SDM Training

Location: SFNFCI Classroom 207 - 2553 Grasswood Road East. Saskatoon, SK. S7T 1C8

Time:  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day (lunch 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.) The forth day we will end at noon. 
Doors will open at 8:30 each day to allow time to get settled as we will start promptly at 9:00AM.
Materials: SFNFCI provides SDM manual, materials, lunch, and snacks 
Cost: Free 
 
**Note: 100% attendance is required to receive a certificate of completion.
 

This training is intended for supervisors utilizing and supervising SDM assessments in their current roles.

 

During this training all six SDM assessments (Intake, Safety, Risk, Family Strength and Needs, Reunification, Risk Re) will be reviewed from a supervisor’s role. We will be discussing ways to review completed assessments, provide feedback, and explore when written approval and verbal approval is acceptable. Additionally, we will explore the importance or written narratives and ways to mentor staff in strengthening documentation.
