Join the SDM Consultant Team for an in-person, full SDM training, February 24-27, 2025. The SDM model brings structure and consistency to important decision points in child protection casework using assessment tools that are objective, comprehensive, and easy to use. The SDM model has structured tools, and each tool will provide a specific recommendation about what to do after you have completed interviews and information gathering with the family and collaterals. Each SDM assessment is connected to a question about the case, or a decision that needs to be made. The SDM model is described as guiding decisions and does not replace clinical skills. It depends upon good interview and observation skills to conduct thorough assessments.
100% attendance is required to receive a certificate of completion.
Please contact your SFNFCI SDM Consultants with any questions and/or for further information.
