Included: Lunch, snacks, training materials and the presence and guidance of an Elder will be provided during Training.
This two-day module has been designed to give learners suggestions of guidelines to use when developing programming. It can help give agencies a broad understanding of practical planning methods in preparing and implementing a plan, creating schedules, and can also provide ideas on techniques for measuring the success of your plan.
Key competencies are the knowledge, skills and abilities that are needed to work effectively as Prevention workers. This module is designed to equip you with:
- Describe the key elements of program planning
- Identify your organization’s needs, problems, purpose, goals, and strengths
- Develop the draft program
- Implement the program plan
- Evaluate the program
Deadline for registration is December 23, 2025.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
When you register online you will receive an automatic email response confirming you registered- PLEASE NOTE- this does NOT confirm your enrollment in the training- you will receive either – A confirmation of enrollment OR notification that you have been placed on our waitlist closer to the training date.
100% attendance is required to receive course certification.

To ensure a positive training experience and help participants get the most out of the session, please review the learner expectations below:
- Be aware that the training is 2 days, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
- Turning off your phones or putting them on silent throughout the training is expected
- Be ‘present’ and minimize distractions around you, you must participate in 100% of the course to receive your certificate of completion
- Demonstrate respectful behavior, remember all discussions are confidential
- Be prepared to listen and ask questions
- Bring paper and pen
